Dr. Deepa and Anupam attended an IP Manthan session and stakeholder interaction organized by the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (CGPDTM), Government of India, at the Indian Patent Office in New Delhi on October 8, 2026.
The programme included a session on “Global Innovation Index and Indian IP Scenario,” led by Dr. Sacha Wunsch-Vincent of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and Ms. Shivani Singh. The session was followed by a presentation on the status of intellectual property in India and a brainstorming discussion.
The programme also included roundtable meetings with IP stakeholders and professionals, providing an opportunity to exchange views on contemporary intellectual property issues, developments in India’s IP ecosystem and areas of mutual interest.
