Dr. Shachindra delivered an online lecture on the occasion of World Intellectual Property Day 2026, organized by the ICAR–Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes (ICAR-CIRB), on April 30, 2026.
As part of the programme themed “IP and Sports: Ready, Set, Innovate,” he spoke on “Developing Strong Patent Portfolio for Start-Ups & Institutes – the ABC of it!”, sharing practical insights on building and managing effective patent portfolios.
The session focused on key aspects of patent strategy, portfolio development, and the importance of aligning intellectual property with innovation and commercialization goals, particularly for startups and research institutions.
