Dr. Shachindra, Ranjana and Dr. Jyoti attended the Open Session with the Heads of IP Offices (HIPOs), followed by a Cultural Evening, organized by the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (CGPDTM), DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, on September 3, 2026, in New Delhi.

The session was held as part of India’s BRICS Chairship 2026, under the theme “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability.” The programme brought together representatives and stakeholders from the intellectual property community in the context of cooperation among BRICS countries on IP and innovation.
