The masterclass provided practical insights into Japan’s patent protection and examination system, with a focus on helping Indian innovators and IP professionals effectively protect and commercialize innovations in Japan.
The programme covered topics such as the patent protection framework in India and Japan, examination practices, filing strategies, timelines, and procedural requirements, along with discussions on common challenges faced during patent prosecution.
The session also offered an opportunity to interact with experts and gain a deeper understanding of navigating cross-border patent protection and innovation strategies.
