Shashank will be attending the seminar on “Protecting Consumers: Addressing the Threat of Smuggling and Counterfeiting,” organized by FICCI’s Committee Against Smuggling and Counterfeiting Activities Destroying the Economy (CASCADE), scheduled to be held at FICCI, Federation House, New Delhi, on April 8, 2026.
The seminar will bring together policymakers, enforcement agencies, consumer activists, and industry stakeholders to discuss the growing risks posed by illicit trade and the measures required to protect consumers and strengthen market integrity.
The discussions will also focus on the role of informed and vigilant consumers in combating counterfeit and smuggled goods, highlighting the importance of collective action in safeguarding consumer interests, protecting public health, and fostering a fair and transparent marketplace.
