Equity Partners
Dr Shachindra Pandey and Sudeshna Banerjee have recently been elevated as Equity Partners. They represent the firm’s patent and trademark practices, respectively.
Dr Shachindra Pandey is a patent expert in life sciences domains, with nearly two decades of experience in drafting, prosecution, and handling complex cases globally. He is based in the Gurugram office.
Sudeshna Banerjee brings over 20 years of expertise in trademarks, copyrights, and geographical indications, specializing in emerging areas like social media and NFTs. She is based in the Bengaluru office.
Retained Partners
Litigation team’s Abhishek Jan and Jithin M George from Gurugram and Rishi Aneja from Bengaluru were elected as Retained Partners.
Abhishek assists in patent enforcement and protection and dispute resolution for clients in the areas of pharmaceuticals, medicinal chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry and biotechnology.
Jithin handles litigation, enforcement, protection and dispute resolution relating to trademarks and copyright.
Rishi represents clients spanning a wide spectrum of industries in various matters related to trademark infringement, design infringement and contractual disputes.
From the Trademark team, Anooja Padhee was elected as a retained Partner. Based out of Gurugram, Anooja handles filing and prosecution of trademark applications, oppositions and cancellations. She also assists clients in the protection of well-known geographical indications such as Darjeeling tea.

From Gurugram office, colleagues Dipti Girdhar and Siddhant Parvat, were joined by
Anjana Bisht, R Priyanka, Sandeep N P, Sandesh Sastry and Sridhar R from the Bengaluru office.
Dipti has experience in handling patent matters in wide technology areas for corporate clients, foreign associates, multinationals, MSMEs, start-ups, and universities.
Siddhant handles patent drafting and prosecution in the areas of mechanical, automobile & aeronautical engineering.
Anjana handles patent drafting, filing and prosecution in the areas of computer science and electronics.
R Priyanka has experience in handling patent matters in wide technology areas that include computer networks and emerging technologies and conducts seminars on patentability and infringement.
Sandeep handles patent drafting, filing and prosecution in the areas of computers and electronics in wide technology areas including mobile applications, 4G/5G communication and other emerging technologies.
Sandesh has techno-legal and business expertise in providing strategic advice on electronics, mineral processing, energy sources, biomedical devices, and warehouse management, and works with diverse clients to secure patent protection in India and abroad.
Sridhar handles drafting and prosecution of patent applications (domestic and overseas) in biotechnology, molecular biology, biochemistry, pharmaceuticals, chemistry, and material science, with specific experience in peptides, fusion proteins, antibodies, and conjugates.
Additionally, eleven team members have been promoted to Senior Associates, and five Secretaries have advanced to Paralegals.
Senior Associates
From the Patent team, Dr. Ankur Saxena, Dr. Riti Sethi, Amit Khandelwal, Anamika Thakur, Kshama Gaitonde, Raghavendra Y, Rahul Mishra and Revanth K were promoted to the role of Senior Associates. Ashwin Sivasubramaniam, Smeet Parekh and Tanvi Kotwal were elevated from the Trademark team.
Paralegals
The patent team promoted five members, Gargi Bhattacharjee, Gurleen Kaur, Madanraj M, Mahesh Joshi and Prajnya Poojari to the role of Paralegals.
Support Team
Five members of the support team have been promoted to new roles. Harvinder Reen, from the ICT team was elevated as the Head of IT. Avishek Dasgupta has been promoted to Manager-HR, Anil Kumar to Manager-Finance & Accounts, Vivek Shrivastav to Senior Executive-Finance & Accounts, and Naresh Kumar to Senior Executive-MarCom.
